About Guelph Wellington Quality Child Care Initiative – QCCI

The QCCI was established in 2005 with the goal of having a positive impact on early learning and care programs by working in collaboration with community partners to promote and sustain high quality child care. Community Child Care Programs and supporting agencies come together to plan, implement, and determine strengths and needs of the child care community in order to provide the support and resources necessary to deliver inclusive high quality early learning and care.

Quality Consultations

The Quality Child Care Initiative provides quality consultations to licensed programs throughout Guelph and Wellington County. These consultations will identify the strengths of your program as well as areas where growth is possible. All consultations are confidential. Call QCCI to arrange a consultation for your program.

Professional Development and Training

Workshops and training that are relevant to early childhood learning and care are offered throughout the year at no cost or on a cost recovery basis. Training events are designed to address current teachings and philosophies in the early childhood education field as well as opportunities for professional growth in the areas of supervision and management. If there is a topic that you would like to see included in our training or workshop offerings, please let us know! Check the calendar for information on upcoming events.
