Networking is a great way to connect with colleagues in the field, share ideas, hear about upcoming opportunities, and learn about new resources. Currently, QCCI hosts five different networks:
Infant/Toddler Network
Join your colleagues to share your ideas and experience of caring for infants or toddlers. Each meeting will include a discussion on a specific topic related to the care of our youngest children. This network meets in the evening 4 times a year at the OEYC, Stone Rd mall, Guelph. Please check the calendar of events for upcoming network dates.
Supervisors Network:
Supervisors from both non-profit and commercial centres are welcome to participate, discuss trends and issues, as well as leadership ideas and support. Meetings are held the second Friday of each month, 1:30 – 3:00pm @ OEYC Stone Rd Mall location.
Home Child Care Providers Network :
Meets on Monday mornings in Guelph at the OEYC, Stone Rd. mall from 9:15 – 11:15. Drop in to network with other providers, participate in the “take and make” and have the children in your care join the playgroup.
Cooks Network:
All child care cooks are invited to network with peers, share ideas and recipes and enjoy a specific topic of interest at each meeting. This network meets 4 times a year at the OEYC, Stone Rd. mall location. Check calendar for specific dates.
FISH Network:
The Forum for Information Sharing (FISH) provides an opportunity for preschool and nursery school staff to network with each other, discuss common issues, and provide support to colleagues. The FISH Network meets twice each year in the spring and fall. Check calendar for specific dates.
